Fallen Leaves

Yesterday I wanted to get out of the house so I hopped in the car with my parents and we went to Hyde Hall, a Royal Horticultural Society garden located just outside the center of Chelmsford. It always amazes me that places like this exist in Essex, it's a lot different to what is shown on TOWIE!

Photography is my first love and lately I've been feeling a little distant from it so more than anything I wanted to wander round with my camera, not have any deadlines or client expectations and photograph what ever intrigued me!

My mum kindly took some outfit photos for me whilst we were wandering around, so thanks mum! I think I'll leave my photos to another blog post otherwise it's going to be quite a long one!

Dress: Asos
Cardigan: Primark
Coat: Henry Holland @ Debenhams
Shoes: Dr Martens

I totally forgot to photograph the back of this dress, but to be honest it was so bloody cold I didn't want to take my coat off let alone my cardigan (and yes it is the same cardigan as the last post but in black!) but the back has the most awesome corset style detail to tie it up. I love the colours and it's super comfy and flattering. If you couldn't tell so far, I have a bit of a thing for Asos dresses!

One For The Road

Hat: H&M
Dress: ASOS
Boots: ASOS
Cardigan: Primark
It stopped raining long enough for me to run out and take these today. I did have another outfit post to share but I decided I didn't actually like it so I started again! Today I got up super early and popped to Debenhams with my mum to take advantage of the half price offers they had on, mum picked up a bag and I got this christmas jumper by Henry Holland!

I love this Asos dress because it literally takes me a second to throw it on with a cardi and some boots and run straight out the door and it's super comfy! I got the boots from Asos at the beginning of the year and they were definitely more than worth the mere £20 that I paid for them! Total bargain! I got this cardigan a few weeks ago in Primark and recently picked up the black version. As you can tell I'm all about casual and comfy dressing! Teddy decided he wanted to join in too so now you can all see my little canine best friend! I'm sure he'll make some more appearances.

Also thanks to my brother for taking these when my camera remote decided to die! My camera isn't the easiest to use so he did pretty well I think!

Wishlist 001 - ASOS edition

I think top of my list is a coat, now it's starting to get pretty cold it's definitely a necessity! I've got my eye on the two pictured above. 70% of the coats I've owned over the years have been khaki be it a waxed coat or parka so that's probably why the first really appeals to me. However I think this year I'm definitely leaning towards the second. I love the side zip, tartan cuff detailing and zip pockets, and you can't really go wrong with navy!

That collar detail! *Swoon* I love the ribbed knit, once again navy, most of my wardrobe is made up of navy garments but it's such a versatile colour! The only thing that puts me off is it looks very short and I'd be very conscious of my tummy. There is a fox on it. That sums up why I love the second!

So I already have some ASOS ankle boots that I wear to death but I particularly like this chunky leather buckled number, that are actually from River Island, but shh! I like the second pair because you can't go wrong with a pair of Chelsea boots.

I was spoilt for choice with which dresses to feature but I decided to show this monochrome spotted smock dress and a classic Fred Perry dress. I like classic styles and shapes that are versatile enough to wear any season, these two for me definitely pass the test!

What do you think of my first wishlist/proper post? I'd love to know your thoughts as this is all pretty new and scary to me, eep!
